Human, scientist, shaman, yogi. Many have descibed me as an old man, elder and even preto velho.

As such I take the role of sharing ancient tools and wisdom from different traditions or direclty from the ether. Mirroring what is within you. Activating your inner potentional, so that you may progress on your own journey with more clarity and strength.

You still need walk the path. I can merely give you a nudge and provide a lantern in the face of darkness.

My Path

From kid, to computer scientist, to shaman, to yogi. The journey continues.

I grew up surrounded by spiritual practice. Being introduced to meditation, chanting, and various Tibetan Buddhist Vajrayana practices by my father at the age of 5 definitely shaped me as a child.

A few year later I came into contact with Hinduism through Swami Kaleshwar and again was able to delve deeper into the untangable wonders of life.

Mediation, mantra chanting and energy work were normal to me. But my interest as a child was elsewere. Play, joy & fun. As such, many of the seeds planted in early childhood stayed dormant for years.

I graduated high school and went along to study IT-Systems-Engineering. While studying was fun, my curiosity into the mysteries of the world remained. In my spare time I would I visit lectures pertaining to psychology and human behavior as well as delving into the field of neuro-linguistic programming.

After working in the field and completing my masters in 2016, I felt a call to go to the Peruvian Amazon.

Angelo Haller with Agustin Rivas Vasquez

Here I met a very different type of master. The master shaman, Ayahuascero, and healer Don Agustin Rivas Vasquez. Little did I know that my trip into healing & self exploration would turn into a year long apprenticeship. Me living with him and his wife, out in the jungle. Learning the craft. Slowinly being given more and more responsability up to the point of Agustin telling me to start leading ceremony myself.

Loving the land, I moved to Peru more permanently. Through a friend I was introduced to two elders of the Q'ero nation: Don Francisco Chura Flores and his wife Doña Juana Apaza Ccapa. From them I receied the Munay Ki initiations and started to split my time between living in the Amazon basin as well as the Andean mountains.

Learning from my teachers, the plants, and the spirits. Translating, organizing cermonies as well as leading my own retreats, sharing, healing, and leaning some more. Rigourous plant diets in solitude at times for months were part of my training. All while studying the human body, the psyche as well as delving deeper into the exploration of consiousness and the various mystic schools as found in Buddhism, Taoism, and others across the globe.

Only to be followed by yet another major shift: After decades of searching, I finally met my Buddhist root guru: Garchen Rinpoche. A being, that like my master Don Agustin, is still shaping my life today.

Inspiring me to take another step into the unknown. Taking refuge and inspiring me to go on pilgramage in the footsteps of the lotus born - Guru Rinpoche - leading me to become a yogi.
